The
First Karachi International Book Fair (KIBF)
The
First Karachi International Book Fair (KIBF) was organized by Pakistan Publishers
& Booksellers Association from December 8 to 11, 2005. It was refreshing
to see long queues forming to enter Hall 4 where reputed Pakistani and international
exhibitors participated in more than 120 stalls with their offering of books
on all conceivable topics.
The
fair witnessed a frenzy of visitors from all walks of life, families, groups
of students, scholars, leading authors, journalists and businessmen all seems
to be delighted at the wonderful offer of books at the Fair. More than 1,00,000
visitors came to the Fair in the four days.

& Booksellers Association in association with National Book
Foundation.
